Qigong is an ancient practice of movement, breath, and meditation that cultivates energy, balance, and focus.
A Bit of History
Qigong began in China over 2,000 years ago as a blend of martial arts, meditation, and healing. Monks used it to improve resilience, while physicians applied it to support qi, or vital energy. Over centuries, styles evolved—medical Qigong for health, martial Qigong for strength, and spiritual Qigong for inner balance. In the 20th century, Qigong spread globally, attracting attention for stress relief and rehabilitation. Today, it complements acupuncture, holistic health, and stress relief, practiced in hospitals, wellness centers, and community groups.
How this Can Help You
Qigong may support relaxation, breathing, and coordination. Patients often describe calmer moods, steadier energy, and improved resilience to stress when integrated into daily life.
